Hi there I'm Marisa! I'm an independently published author of a children's book series called, "Kirsy's Adventures". I published the first book, "Questions For God" in 2020, I was a sophmore in highschool looking for a stepping stone to achieve my dream of being an author and illustrator (and to pass the time), so I decided to write the first book in a children's book series based on my childhood growing up in a Christian family and having so many questions about God and faith. I currently attend The College of New Jersey as a Fine Arts major and Creative writing Minor. I have learned a lot about different forms of art along with illustration such as book arts (the creative sculpting of books) and have gained a lot of experience curating exhibitions for TCNJ's Art Gallery. Being a Creative Writing minor I have learn a lot about myself as a writer and aspire to write a book of poetry some time in the future and would love to continue illustrating for children's books in my prospective career.
